Sydney as a Dance Teacher

Sydney has been teaching ballet and jazz styles since the age of 16. She loves working with the next generation of dancers and believes that all dance teachers need to know how to raise up young dancers in a positive and efficient way. 

In 2024, Sydney attended the American Ballet Theatre's National Training Program Workshop for levels Pre-primary through Level 3 (ages 3-12). She passed the exam and is now certified to teach via the ABT Curriculum. Her exam was under evaluated by Pamela Levy and Amanda Lindamood.  While she is currently certified to teach these levels of dancers, Sydney has experience teaching high school and middle school level ballet,  jazz, tap and contemporary dance.

Sydney has been a teacher assistant at American Ballet Theatre's JKO school and Hilton Head Dance School. She has professionally taught at Hilton Head Dance School, American Youth Dance Theater and Innerfaith Performing Arts. 

Sydney is currently in the process of becoming a certified Balanced Body Pilates Reformer instructor. She loves incorporating pilates ideology into her classes so dancers can better understand how their own bodies work.
